Luke Miller is a 2016 OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Boerne - Samuel V Champion HS. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.09 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short steps to the ball and tracks well off barrel, small crow hop to gain momentum, short arm action with a longer release, creates extension out front, arm strength will continue to develop, accurate throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and a medium hand set. High leg lift trigger, upper body swing with a line drive swing plane. Shows a feel for the barrel, opens front side early at times but is able to create consistent contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.
