Ryan Riddle is a 2017 C/RHP, SS, 3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Mount Michael Benedictine. Riddle has a strong athletic build with room to fill out. Hits from a square upright stance, toe tap trigger with a short compact swing. Line drive swing plane with lift in swing. Has late bat speed, ball will jump when barreled and showed carry off bat. Defensively, primary catcher, strong catch and throw skills, popped a 1.85 and threw 84 down to second, gains ground and has a very quick exchange and release. From the INF, has smooth feet and round ball well, clean glove through ball with clean transfer and release, fluid through out his actions. Arm worked throwing 88 across diamond. Also pitched. Simple side step to leg lift, coils well at balance p;oint, long arm circle to a extended 3/4 arm slot. Uses lower half well and stays online to the plate. Fastball showed arm side run down in zone. Named to Top Prospect List of Midwest Top. Good Student.
