Ryan Grabosch is a 2019 C/2B, 3B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Large frame with very good present physicality; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.59 seconds. Sets up to hit from spread out, even-based stance with high back elbow; does a good job shifting into contact in lower half and generating hip torque. Shows good bat speed with strength off the barrel; stays committed to the middle of the field through approach and will work to all fields. Inside-out path with hands, keeps hands inside. Worked out defensively behind the plate; stays low in crouch and has quick feet exploding out into throw down mechanics. Steps and replaces, quick transfer with quick release, legitimate game actions throughout. Threw 76 mph and popped as low as 1.94 seconds with good accuracy. Named to 2017 Sunshine West Top Prospect List; very good student.
