Zack Heidenry is a 2018 2B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lisle, IL who attends Lisle HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; very good physical projection remaining on build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, even-based stance with low hand set and leg lift trigger. Smooth balance throughout swing mechanics, smoothness to barrel path on line drive swing plane, worked back through the middle consistently on a line and showed the ability and willingness to work to all fields. Worked out defensively in the infield. Shows quality footwork with athleticism to movements, surrounds ball well and swivels hips, fields cleanly and works through it, got off quick throws across the diamond with good arm strength, clocked up to 82 mph with solid accuracy. Very good student; named to 2017 Great Lakes Showcase Top Prospect List.
