David Feals is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Greenland, NH who attends Portsmouth. Medium, athletic frame with good present build throughout body and good projection remaining on frame. Posted a 7.23 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from very narrow and upright stance, shows very short and quick hands to and through the hitting zone, line drive swing plane with middle-field approach, compact swing overall, could stand to utilize lower half more in swing mechanics, made consistent contact to all fields with good approach to hitting. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Shows good footwork with overall quick feet, waits back on the ball and gets through it some post-fielding, shows solid arm action with 3/4 slot release, made consistently accurate throws to 2B and 3B with throws topping at 68 MPH. Good student.
