Paul Wilson is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-4 170 lb. frame from Perry Hall, MD who attends John Carroll. Wilson has a medium build with room to fill out and add strength to frame. 3/4 arm slot with a full arm action and circle in back. Loads well on backside with a slight hip turn at balance point. Arm shows good quickness through release point. Online smooth easy delivery. Fastball shows good arm side run down in zone and comes out of hand cleanly. Commanded both sides of plate with fastball. Curveball had 12/6 shape with good depth. Consistent feel for curveball through out outing. Curveball flashed potential to be a swing and miss pitch. Has developing change up that flashed fade in between innings, tend to pull it across body during game, if he keeps working with it could develop it to be quality third pitch. Good Student.
