Tylan Reece is a 2018 SS/ with a 5-8 152 lb. frame from Hopemills, NC who attends South View High School. Younger player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 6.95 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, younger actions, best fluidity to backhand, and developing arm strength across the diamond. At the plate, started with a wide base, medium hand set, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Quickness to hands with a ground ball approach at the plate, and an inconsistent weight shift. Strength to impact the ball off the barrel. Would do well to incorporate additional lower half in swing and adjust plane.
