Preston Hagan is a 2018 SS/3B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Buford HS. Recorded a 6.94 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic build with present strength and room to fill. Primary shortstop who utilizes clean, sound footwork. Clean exchanges with a quick release and attacks the ball. Solid glove work and athleticism shines at the position. Very good arm strength recorded up to 88 mph across. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a short rocker step into a leg lift at the belt. Loose arm who extends well. Higher three-quarter arm slot and can create cutting life on the fastball. Curveball is inconsistent but flashes sharpness and depth. Righthanded hitter with very quick hands and a short, compact swing path. Squares the ball up well to create good jump off the barrel. Big leg lift trigger and drives weight forward. Swings through the ball well with solid all-around hitting tools. Named to the 2017 Southeast Top Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List. Tremendous student.
