Eric Linder is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from St. Augustine, FL who attends Allen D Nease HS. Thick strong build, fairly mature for his age, broad shoulders. Big hip coil delivery, long arm circle in back but hides the ball well, 3/4's arm slot, has some crossfire and energy at release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight and thrown for strikes. Has good feel for his change up and throws it for strikes with proper arm speed, will lower his release point on this pitch. Soft slider has good sweeping depth but less feel. Flashed a couple of slow curveballs with 12/6 depth for strikes. Has the pitches to develop. Right handed hitter, late pull back load and gather, has strength in his swing but is late getting the barrel started, inside swing path, mid field to opposite field contact.
