Lane Hutchinson is a 2019 3B/1B, RHP, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Denham Springs, LA who attends Live Oak HS. Recorded a 7.05 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with present strength and room for additional physicality. Primary third baseman who fields out in front with quick, clean hands. Moves well to either side with athleticism and has an online release. Good arm strength recorded up to 86 mph across with accuracy and carry. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a smooth delivery and loose arm stroke through a higher three-quarters release. Utilizes the lower half well through release. Short life to the arm side on the fastball and flashed a very high potential curveball. Righthanded hitter with a big leg lift trigger into the swing. High hand set with a high back elbow and a patient approach. Flashed intent to pull with a compact, controlled stroke and some loft to the swing path. Good student.
