Ian Wolff is a 2022 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Wright City, MO who attends Wright City. Recorded a 7.25 second 60 yard dash time. Large, high waisted frame with a lean and athletic build, definite strength present. Primary third baseman with quick feet and good feel for the glove. Has present lateral range with a very quick transfer and release. Stiff arm action at present, showed the ability to throw from multiple angles and has clean footwork. Secondary right-handed pitcher, comes from a three-quarters slot and the fastball shows big tailing and sinking action that he located well down in the zone. Good pitch that will miss plenty of barrels and generate weak, ground ball contact. Flashed some feel for a deep, slurvy breaker with bite. Switch hitter with an open and upright stance, aggressive and high intent swinger with present bat speed. Utilizes a leg lift trigger, has quickness from both sides of the plate. Has a flat bat path through the zone that generates line drive contact thanks to his feel for the barrel. Good student. Named to the 2021 Sunshine Midwest Top Prospect List.
