Jarel Jay Watson is a 2019 OF/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Redan. Medium and projectable frame with present athleticism. Ran a 6.58 second 60 yard dash, elite speed that shows up in game. Primary outfielder, takes short steps to the ball with playable footwork, comes through the ball gaining ground into throws producing good arm strength from a long arm stroke, topped out at 84 mph from the outfield with accuracy to his target. Righthanded hitter, slightly open stance to start, direct hand path to the ball staying inside on his path to contact, stays balanced throughout with raw bat speed and the ability to work to all parts of the field, will improve pop off of the barrel with the addition of strength to the frame.
