Raymond Bartoli is a 2017 2B/RHP, SS with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Wolcott, CT who attends Wolcott. Medium frame with slender, athletic build at present with good room to fill out. Ran well, posting a 7.14 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits from narrow stance with deep, low hand load, leg lift trigger, hands work well through swing, good barrel control and is able to match plane, approach is middle-opposite field, line drive swing plane with consistent line drive contact. Shows good first step and overall footwork defensively, fields cleanly and gathers well, transfers cleanly and has quick release from low 3/4 slot, accurate across the diamond up to 79 MPH. Pitched as well, showing smooth and repeatable delivery with good tempo, stands tall on backside and uses lower half well, throws from high 3/4 slot and generates plane, FB worked 78-81 with slight cutting action. Showed sharp 11/5 CB with good depth and late break, as well as good straight CH with deception and same arm speed as FB. Throws all 3 pitches for strikes. Very good student.
