Christian Smith is a 2024 OF/ with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends Boyd Buchanan. Tall and athletic look to the frame. Solid runner, ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, waits back on grounders, fields it with one hand off to the side of the body, long arm action to a higher release point. Releases throws on an uphill angle, developing arm strength, was extremely accurate around the bag with good projection. Right-handed hitter, starts in a high stance, changes up timing mechanisms, fights hard to get the barrel inside the baseball and hit the ball the other way. Has some power projection and works into the lower half well. Had multiple extra base hits in game action. Excellent student. Named to 2023 Summer Main Event Top Prospect List.
