Jake Crews is a 2017 OF/ with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Waxahachie, TX who attends Red Oak HS. Medium frame with a slender build, room to fill out as he matures. From the outfield, made online throws with good carry. Takes a big crow hop and gives max effort on all of his throws. Developing athletic actions on the infield that makes all the routine plays. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an open stance and a higher hand set. Line drive swing path with quick bat speed and hard pull side contact. Should see more consistent loud contact to all fields as he begins to hit against his front side on a regular basis. Projectable frame.
