Jimmy Mulvaney is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 173 lb. frame from Flemington, NJ who attends St. Joseph. Medium frame with athletic build, ran 60 yard dash in 8.06 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, shows good balance to delivery and has good timing, releases from lower three quarters slot, creates lots of angle to the plate, fastball worked 68-73 mph with good arm side life, pounds the zone with the fastball, showed tilting slurve, got a lot of weak contact. Hits from even-based stance with high hands, toe tap trigger, does not engage or shift lower half into swing, middle-opposite field approach with line drive swing plane. Very good student.
