Danny Vazquez is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Carroll HS. Nice athletic build with a good frame to add strength. Slow paced leg raise delivery, good direction but has some drift out over his front side and arm is occasionally late catching up, long extended arm action, shows the ball to hitters early, long stride out front. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly straight. Curveball his best pitch at present, has solid spin and is located well for strikes. Can improve with mechanical adjustments. 6.82 runner in the sixty, showed good arm strength from the outfield. Right handed hitter, limited shift and stride, upper body arm swing, handles the barrel well but lack of lower half use and shift limits ability to drive the ball. Good student.
