Jelani Kingston is a 2023 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Fairburn, GA who attends Creekside. Medium and slender frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.87 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out at the position with a quick release flashed, will tend to take extra steps winding up into throws, developing arm strength from the outfield up to 73 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a compact arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, short stride down the mound, fastball topped out at 65 mph. Left-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance and a high hand set, toe tap trigger with a stride into contact, rotational actions to swing with a pull side approach, will improve with strength added.
