Jimmy Guckenberger is a 2017 IF/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Cherry Hills Village, CO who attends Cherry Creek HS. Medium athletic build, good strength for his age with room to add more. Right handed hitter, spread bent knee stance, lots of pre-swing movement can impact timing, long and strong swing with some bat speed and gap to gap power, projects well offensively with adjustments. 7.46 runner, fields the ball cleanly in the infield, third base tools and actions, outfield skills still developing. Also pitched, leg raise delivery, lays his arm back early, threw strikes with a three-pitch mix. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, change up is his best secondary pitch. Very good student.
