Jeremiah Barnett is a 2016 C/1B with a 6-2 173 lb. frame from Glennville, GA who attends Tattnall County. Long and lean frame with excellent physical projection remaining. Hits from upright stance with small leg lift trigger, lower hand set with good bat speed and line drive plane. Hands are quick to and through the hitting zone. Swing shows natural loft at times with extension, has gap power at present that will develop into more over the fence power with added strength. High set behind the plate, shows solid arm strength with inconsistent arm slot when throwing down to 2B, topping at 76 MPH velocity. Popped as low as 2.07 seconds. Very good student.
