Tyler Sheley is a 2017 SS/2B/RHP with a 6-0 166 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends North Forsyth HS. Large frame with long, lean present build; good projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.93 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based stance with open front hip, rests barrel on shoulder with quiet hands, loads deep back and creates separation. Inside out swing path with solid bat speed, keeps hands inside the ball and stays on line drive swing plane, showed consistent ability to drive the ball right back up the middle with the ability to use the entire field. Worked out defensively in the infield, fields deep between feet with two hands and clean funnel, works through into crow hop and gets off quick release from lower arm slot, threw accurately across the diamond with arm strength clocked up to 80 MPH. Good student.
