Angel Morales is a 2018 2B/OF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Orlando, FL. Compact frame, broad shoulders with lean, athletic build, has room to fill out. Solid athlete, ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, moves well laterally to either side, good aggressive charge with solid footwork, accurate throws across the diamond. Also shows solid actions in the outfield, works through the ball well, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, upper-body rotational swing. Can open up frontside early, generates developing bat speed. Middle of the field approach, has ability to find the barrel, stays inside the baseball. Should continue to improve with additional physical strength and more experience, repetitions. Excellent student.
