Zachary "Mo" Schaffer is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from West Chester, OH who attends Arch Bishop Moeller HS. Schaffer has a medium sized frame with a stocky build. Defensively he attacks the ball well in the outfield and has solid outfield actions. Schaffer showed arm strength up to 80 MPH and made online throws from the outfield. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance and uses a big leg lift trigger. Schaffer has an upright stance and looks to keep his hands inside the baseball. He has some bat speed and showed developing barrel feel. Schaffer pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot and sticks his arm in back behind his leg. He has some arm speed and throws an 11/5 curveball at 67 MPH. Very good student.
