Andre Perez is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Terra Environmental Research Institute. Has a medium frame, medium build, and put on even more additional strength as he continues to develop. Posted a 6.76 sixty yard dash. From the infield, moves well showing quick and clean footwork. Has full arm action on accurate throws across with arm strength up to 85 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a tight hand set. Has a short, compact swing on a level bat bath. Displayed good bat speed and quick hands and wrists. Ball comes well off the barrel pull side. On the mound, stays online through his delivery while working downhill. Has good arm speed from a three-quarters arm slot. Excellent student.
