2004 West Coast Top Prospect Showcase
Brandon is a 2005 grad from Los Alomitos High School in Southern California. At 6'2/200 he's a lively, high intensity player who is the type coaches love to have on their team. Brandon is a tall, switch hitting catcher with a durable, presently strong build that can hold up to the demands of the position. Offensively, Brandon hits out of a narrow base and shows good raw power and strength from both sides of the plate. He showed the ability to center the ball and use his strength in game situations. Defensively, Brandon is a work horse who does all the little things to make a pitcher's job easier. He has good arm strength and solid pop times to second base. The more you watch Brandon play the more you like what he brings to the field. Switch hitting work horse catchers are hard to find and Brandon should be well recruited by some good colleges. He's also a very strong student.
