Branden Dito is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Lewisville High School. Incredibly young player with a medium build and frame, present strength, and a compact lower half. Primary right handed pitcher, simple rocker step start, balanced and on-line through landing, good extension through the ball, longer arm circle through the back, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Repeated delivery very well and showed an idea of how to sequence pitches. Fastball showed good cutting action down in the zone with angle to the plate working 79-81 mph. Maintained arm speed well for 11/5 shaped curveball with good depth and flashed sharpness. Impressive on the mound for age. Also worked out from the infield, fielded close to body with younger overall actions through the ball. At the plate, started with a spread stance, open base, and a larger leg lift timing mechanism. Swing primarily worked through upper half and used a power approach. Swing showed natural lifted plane with extended path. Should continue to incorporate lower half and add strength to frame to drive the ball with more consistency. Good student.
