Chad Cole is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Little Falls, NJ who attends Passaic Valley. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size and strength. Ran a 7.23 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with aggressive, athletic footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Sound, fluid glove actions while picking up the baseball and working through exchange. Created good momentum to the bag while releasing from a three-quarters slot. Throws created accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and high back elbow set. Shifts into contact with linear lower half actions. Loose path to contact with a slightly lifted plane through extension. Stays balanced throughout and utilized a gap to gap approach. Flashed solid bat speed when working to the middle of the field, but flashed the barrel control to work to opposite field as well. Tools will continue to develop with physical maturity and repetition.
