Noa Taylor is a 2017 MIF/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Summit, IL who attends Argo Community HS. Medium-large frame with athletic, solid build throughout and good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.20 seconds. Sets up to hit with deep hand set, leg lift trigger with knee raise mid height, lays barrel back in load to get on plane quickly. Complex overall swing mechanics. Line drive swing plane on plane throughout, rotational in upper half with good hip torque, showed ability to use whole field when hitting. Approach is right back up the middle. Showed well defensively in the infield. Fields out front successfully with clean hand actions, moves well on feet and gets behind ball consistently, lower slot arm action with quick transfer and release, throws whole body into release with good direction to target. Consistently accurate across the diamond with arm strength clocked up to 77 MPH. Good student.
