Ashe Russell is a 2015 RHP with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Cathedral HS. Outstanding young pitcher's build, stronger upper half than lower half, really projects physically. 3/4's to high 3/4's arm slot, fast arm coming through, uses lower half very well to generate power. Fastball up to 95 mph, heavy life down in the strike zone. Slider was a nasty plus present pitch, low 80's with sharpness and depth, had pinpoint command of his slider to the glove side. Two present plus pitches, flashed a change up that will still have to be developed. Dominant performance, highest level pitching prospect with the ability to keep getting better. Selected for the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
