Keone Givens is a 2016 SS/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Choctaw, OK who attends Jones HS. Givens has a lean athletic build. has room to fill out and add strength. Hits from the right side of plate, square stance with an aggressive approach. Line drive swing plane with good bat speed. Made hard contact in games. Shows good barrel control and barreled up balls with a short swing. Defensively, primary SS, Easy actions to ball on infield and OF, feet work well and has solid actions on INF. From the OF, takes good routes and gets in good position to throw. Ball comes out clean with carry. Has tools to develop at plate and in field. Ran 6.76. Outstanding Student.
