PG Grade: 9
Thomas is a live bodied middle infielder with deceptively strong shoulders and hands for his size. He took a very good batting practice, with a calm, well balanced approach, quiet hands and a very quick bat. Some balls jumped off his bat far harder than hitters much bigger. Thomas is a 6.89 runner with a quick first step and excellent infield actions. His arm strength is pretty solid from shortstop and would be a plus tool from second base. Thomas is a front foot thrower who has an accurate arm. He's very solid defensively and he has a great feel for the game. He’s also a good student. Tony is very good now and his best years are still ahead of him. He could create some scouting interest for the draft and he can play at any college program.
