Tim Roberson is a 5'11" 175 pound 2007 catcher and third baseman from Lake Worth, Florida who attends Palm Beach Central High School. He has a solid medium frame with a strong thick lower half. Tim makes consistent hard contact with quick hands to the ball. He has good bat speed and is a good hitter with gap to gap power. He has a line drive swing plane and turns on the ball very well. Roberson has a strong arm which he showed off by throwing 76 mph from behind the plate during the workout with a best pop time of 2.00. He blocks balls in the dirt very well with his quick feet. His pop times were very consistent in the low 2's. Tim is a high level prospect with good potential and is a definite follow for 2007 who is also a good student.
