Zach Woodruff is a 2014 OF/LHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Westminster, CO who attends Erie HS. He has a medium lean frame with room to fill. As an outfielder he showed good routes to the ball with good fielding actions squaring his shoulders up to throw. He was very quick to the ball and got rid of it quickly. As a left handed pitcher, he pitched from a high 3/4 arm slot with easy smooth actions. He showed a short quick arm, pitched downhill, he competes on the mound and attacks the hitters, curveball had 1/7 break. As a left handed hitter he hit from a square stance with a good load and good extension through the ball with a line drive swing path. He centered the ball up well and finished his swing well. Good Student.
