Joshua Stowers is a 2015 OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Westchester, IL who attends Mount Carmel HS. Very strong well proportioned build, football body type. Right handed hitter, short line drive swing, good bat speed to contact, tends to give up hands at contact with an early release, bat speed/quickness to pull the ball hard, ball comes off the barrel hard, has the tools to keep improving, has more power than he is presently showing. 6.64 runner, good footwork and actions through the ball, good arm strength with carry from a compact arm action, centerfield tools on defense. Very good student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
