Eugene Vazquez is a 2013 OF/1B/LHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Timbercreek HS. Tall well proportioned athletic build, good strength. 6.75 runner, plays both first base and corner outfield, very sound outfield fundamentals, clean at the ball with plus footwork, very accurate throws. Agile and quick at first base, soft hands, very balanced. Left handed hitter, smooth and easy low tension swing, has hitter's hands, gets extended out front, some lift from an open, pull stance, squares everything up, high average hitter with developing power, hits under control and sees the ball. Has a high ceiling as a hitter. Good student, verbal commitment to Central Florida.
