Michael Gedman is a 2006 outfielder/pitcher from Framingham, Massachusetts, with a tall and strong 6'3"/200 pound frame. As a left handed hitter, Michael hits from a wide base with a no stride approach and an upright stance. He has very good bat speed, leverage in his swing, and is an aggressive hitter. Gedman has a strong and accurate arm from the outfield at 89 mph and is a confident defensive outfielder. As a left handed pitcher, he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and minimal effort. Michael uses a balanced delivery with leverage as he throws an 85 mph fastball. He throws a 1-7 breaking curveball with depth and a solid changeup at 72 mph with sink. Gedman mixes his pitches well. He is a definite follow and a potential two-way player. Gedman is a good student.
