Barney O'Donnell is a JC OF with a 6'1'', 185 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends CR Washington. He is an outstanding athlete and just recently started focusing on only baseball. In the outfield he showed solid arm strength and very good range and jumps during the game. At the plate he showed a short line drive pull swing. He has a raw swing but has lots of projection. Barney is very athletic and looks to really improve as he refines his baseball skills and focuses on one sport. He was a 5 sport athlete in high school. Signed to play QB at a DI school and transferred to a JC to play baseball. A star athlete in Track, Tennis, Football, Basketball and Baseball. He ran a 6.48 at the predraft.
