LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2025 PG Chicago Indoor Showcase
William Arbuckle is a 2027 C/RHP/SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Alpine, UT who attends Lone Peak. A taller stance with long levers throughout and a higher-set waist. Lean with room to keep filling out the frame/build moving forward. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who worked out behind the dish with slightly open feet with accuracy at the bag down at second, keeping throws around the bag. He had a compact arm action and release with a transfer around the mid-line. Popped a 2.26 with throws at 71 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, fielding it out in front and coming through it from a higher three-quarters release. Showed a longer and loose arm action with some whip to it. Throws worked uphill out of the hand at 79 mph. Shuffled into throws and uses the long levers well. A right-handed hitter with a taller and upright stance & slightly open feet. Higher-set hands with the back elbow up. Showed some length through the zone with a loose stroke. Takes the hands to it out in front and was able to work pull-side with some line drive impacts throughout his round of BP swings. Produced an 81 mph exit velocity during PG DK Tsting. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a sidestep delivery from the wind-up, showing deliberate actions. He showed a feel for the rubber with a squared start as he got into the sidestep before working downhill. Tall-and-fall delivery. Worked the low- to mid-70s on his fastball, showing some angle to it from his higher three-quarters/over-the-top release. Got some in-zone whiffs with the heater, too. Showed a curveball in the low-60s that had 11-5 shape and depth to it, being able to land the breaker for strikes. Flashed a changeup to round out the 3-pitch mix as well. Great student.
