Owen Delcambre is a 2029 RHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Neville. Bigger young build with some present strength and more to come. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise start, tall and fall mechanics, can get more drive and extension down the mound, compact 3/4's arm slot, still developing the ability to repeats his mechanics and release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with some late running life. Also threw a 11/5 mid-60's curveball with some depth when his arm was on time. 6.92 runner in the sixty. Secondary first baseman on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, step by step actions, some arm strength to build on. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with a leg raise trigger, swings hard, developing barrel accuracy and timing. Excellent student. Named to the 14U PG Deep South All-State Games Top Prospect List.
