Gage Zimmerman is a 2025 OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Martinsburg, WV who attends Spring Mills. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.84 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder who moves very well to the ball in the outfield, throws from a sub-sidearm arm slot that needs adjustment, big tail on throws of any distance. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a low hand load, middle away contact approach, tends to be late getting the barrel started, bat speed will improve with additional strength. Also pitched, throws from a simple turn and throw delivery, compact mid 3/4's arm slot indicates he could easily throw from a higher outfield arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph but mostly worked in the low 70's, also threw a change up. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
