Leighton Wienert is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Oak Park, CA who attends Westlake. Features a longer, lean frame. On the mound he has a stretch only operation with moderate kick and big sink into the back leg. Drives it well in rhythm, segments the delivery well with stiff arm stroke and high three quarters release. Two-seam fastball spin with subtle arm run. Lived to the glove side all day. In the outfield he showed proper technique while being aggressive to the ball. He throws out of an over the top slot with carry and the ability to one hop accurately. At the plate he has a wide base and has quiet feet. It is good when he gets extension. He has an up the middle approach and stays on a line. He is an excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
