Chase Tyburczy is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from West Milford, NJ who attends West Milford. Large, athletic build with long levers and plenty of projection remaining. Primary outfielder, stays light on the feet as he attacks the baseball with urgency. Works through it well, creating useful momentum into release while finishing uphill at times. Tons of present quickness in the arm. Kept his throws online while recording arm strength up to 87 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the far first base side of the rubber. Works at a deliberate pace, lifting the leg just above the belt before breaking the hands at the chest. Longer takeaway through the back-side prior to releasing the baseball from a firm three-quarters slot. Displayed smooth lower-half movements with good momentum carried down the slope. Fastball was pretty straight with plenty of life. Filled up the outer-half of the strike zone with the heater and topped it out at 85 mph. Landed a splitter down in the zone for a few swings and misses; showed big tumble action with late depth. Killed tons of spin with it, replicating the arm action effectively. Mixed in a shorter slider with late and abrupt movement along the horizontal axis. Projects for an uptick in velocity as he continues to add strength and physically mature. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider, slightly open stance with a high back elbow and high & tight hand set-up. Utilizes a quiet toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a flatter bat path. Has tons of strength in the hands with the ability to create carry to both gaps. Gets rotational at times. Recorded two loud base hits to left field and another knock to right field on a breaking ball during live action. Posted an exit velocity of 88 mph. Ran a 3.81 thirty-yard dash. Good student. Named to the 2024 New York Indoor Showcase (Saturday) Top Prospect List.
