Robert Delp is a 2008 SS/3B/OF with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV, who attends Bonanza HS. Delp was named to the Top Prospect Team at the event. He has a lean, athletic, and very projectable frame. Defensively he has solid actions and he fields the ball well. Delp shows range and body control that should allow him to stay in the middle of the diamond. He also has a strong and accurate arm. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a square stance with his hands away from his body. He is an aggressive hitter with bat speed through the hitting zone. He has a low hand set, but he gets his hands in the proper hitting position. He has raw power and he shows power potential that should allow him to be a middle of the order run producer at the next level. Once on the bases, he is aggressive with good speed and instincts. Delp is a nice player with good upside, and he is an excellent student as well.
