EJ Lord is a 2028 3B/RHP, MIF with a 5-9 152 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Notre Dame Preparatory. Features a medium sized frame that flashed some positional athleticism. Ran an 8.06 60-yd dash. In the INF, he showed fundamental defensive actions. Got to his spots on time with decent foot quickness where he displayed his glove low and early fielding all his GBs clean. Showed avg. quickness to release while the arm showed some stiffness to the action that got off 50/50 accurate throws to 1B up to 69 mph. At the plate, he sits in a wider stance and uses a smaller leg lift trigger. Has a smaller takeback of the hands. Showed some quality quickness to the barrel that made some consistent out front contact. Threw the barrel on a flatter path that produced a bunch of pullside topspin LDs.
