Brody Pope is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Columbia, MD who attends Atholton. Large frame with plenty of strength potential. 7.85 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, makes accurate throws and has an idea how to change his arm slot, will have to continue to work on his speed and lower half quickness. Also plays some first base. Right handed hitter, hits from a wider base with a short leg raise trigger, has a rotational upper body swing with a flat to downhill plane, flashes some strength when squared up. Took a turn on the mound, gets his hips turned well at the top of his delivery, tall and fall mechanics with a short stride down the mound, compact 3/4's arm action, hides the ball well. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with occasional cutting action, also threw an occasional soft curveball. Good student

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
