Jack Thompson is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 5-9 158 lb. frame from Toronto, ON. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.05 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, slight drop and drive down the slope, shorter stride, gets into back hip well, lengthy arm stroke to high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 72-74 mph with good arm side life and control, showed curveball with slurvy action, attacked the zone with both pitches with success. Hits from slightly open stance, holds coil in load, tends to work downhill with swing path, hands work through swing, showed ability to get barrel out front, will improve as path improves. Gets around the ball well in the infield and shows solid footwork, developing hands/hand actions, clocked up to 74 mph across the diamond.
