Jackson Long is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Guelph, ON who attends Bishop Macdonell. Tap lean build. In the outfield, he charges it with urgency and intent. The glove secures the routine and transfers into high effort throws that displayed decent carry and zip. At the plate, he starts with flat barrel set up working into a moderate kick. There's high energy bat speed that works on a linear path. Quality strength present at impact to both gaps. On the mound, he works with an over the head windup and max effort delivery.Short take back with release out of a three quarters slot. Soft front side with limited extension down the slope. A little funky but extremely projectable and moldable still. Slider shows lengthy horizontal break. 7.52 60-yard. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
