2024 Sunshine Northeast Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Ross Busillo is a 2025 C/3B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Salisbury. Larger frame with well-proportioned strength present throughout. Primary catcher, sets up in a bent-knee stance. Gains sufficient ground during the transfer phase, utilizing a longer stride into foot strike while separating into a deep arm path. Kept his throws around the bag. Recorded arm strength up to 65 mph with a pop time of 2.40 sec. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base and works into a compact, direct stroke. Swings with plenty of intent, creating jump off the barrel to the pull-side and middle of the field. Homered to centerfield during batting practice. Plenty of present strength in the hands and barrel. Posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.24 sixty-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
