Briggs Ellis is a 2025 OF/1B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Hunts Point, WA who attends O'Dea. Features a smaller build with some noticeable strength and athleticism. In the OF, showed an aggressive approach to the baseball. Works low to the ground and moves with noticeable quickness to and through the baseball without breaking momentum. Reception is made clean and out front and gets to a quick release where throws showed avg. strength with uphill accuracy. At the plate, he sits in an open stance. Uses a simple forward move as the hands load a flat barrel that wraps it bit at launch. Some slight drift into contact. Hands throw a direct barrel on a steeper path where he got consistently on-top of the baseball. Above avg. bat/hand speed but didn't get to any lift in his round with best results being hard GBs back up the middle.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
