LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 14U National Showcase
Carter Shouse is a 2028 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Middletown, OH who attends Bishop Fenwick. Recorded a 7.10 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with physicality present and good foundation of athleticism. Primary outfielder who works through it well with very good arm strength up to 89 mph. Easy carry and arm speed with very good athleticism to actions. Also worked out at first base but athleticism shines in the outfield. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a coiled leg lift into the balance point. Stays compact with a loose, fast arm stroke. Short life to the fastball that was up to 89 mph. Heavy changeup with lots of arm side fading action. Kills spin on the pitch. Mid-70s breaker with spin north of 2600+ rpm. Right-handed hitter with solid bat speed and a clean lower half. Heavy hands with a heavy barrel. Gets extended and really impacts it to the pull side. Highest level two-way tools. Tremendous student. Selected to participate in the Perfect Game 14U Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
